SEGA’s next video game based on the much-loved but often mistreated Alien franchise could be titled Aliens: Isolation, according to a trademark filled by Twentieth Century Fox.
The trademark is for use with computer game and video game software, downloadable mobile software, and decorative magnets. We assume the focus will be on gaming not magnets.
SEGA confirmed a new game based on the Aliens IP was in development at The Creative Assembly back in May 2011
A year later a The Creative Assembly job ad appeared for a Multiplayer/Gameplay Programmer for work on “a AAA multi-platform title on current and future generation consoles set in the Alien universe”.
There’s nothing concrete to link Alien: Isolation to the new game from The Creative Assembly, but it is the only new Alien game we now for sure is incoming.
