Ubisoft has today announced that TrackMania 2 Canyon, the first proper sequel to the 2003 racing game, will be available from September 14, 2011.
Anybody looking to play the game before then can pre-purchase the title through the Ubisoft store on August 17, which will guarantee them a place in the multiplayer beta which begins the same day.
TrackMania2 Canyon promises to improve on the successes of the prequel with updated graphics, realistic racing features and an expanded network infrastructure.
The game will also be making an appearance at this year’s gamescom, where players can take part in LAN competitions, challenge professional gamers and watch an invitation only pro gamer tournament.
