Disney Interactive Studios has confirmed that Toy Story 3 will be released in the UK for all leading formats on July 16, around a month after the game’s June 15 launch in the US.
The timing is heavily tied to the release of the movie, which arrives on these shores a bit later than in the US – July 23 to be exact.
Toy Story 3: The Video Game features a story mode that follows the Toy Story 3 film in which Buzz, Woody and friends grapple with their uncertain future as Andy prepares to depart for college.
Toy Box, found in console versions of the game, offers a sandbox-style of play which brings together cowboys, space rangers, dinosaurs, and little green aliens to create adventures previously only found in a child’s imagination.
The PS3 version will also support PlayStation Move in a series of downloadable mini-games.
