Creative Assembly’s upcoming Warhammer game will be called Total War: Warhammer, an upcoming art book has revealed.

The name of the game was spotted by a user on Total War forum Total War Center who received the unreleased book ‘The Art of Total War’ ahead of its official January 23 street date.

The book’s release date suggests Creative Assembly and SEGA may have imminent plans to announce the game officially.

Creative Assembly revealed that it had secured a “multi-title licensing deal” with Games Workshop to create games based in the fantasy setting of the Warhammer universe back in 2012, prompting speculation of a Total Warhammer title. It has yet to formally announce the first Warhammer game.

The developer’s next Total War game, Total War: Attila, releases next month.
