Total War: Rome 2 – Emperor Edition, which includes the new Imperator Augustus Campaign Pack DLC, will release on September 16 for PC/Mac, SEGA has announced.

As previously announced, existing players will be able to update their game to the Emperor Edition at no additional cost.

The new DLC is set during the outbreak of the great Roman civil war, with Octavian, Marc Anthony and Lepidus fighting to become the first emperor of Rome.

Emperor Edition also tweaks the politics system, overhauls building chains and promises balance changes to battles and improved visuals.
