Developer Creative Assembly has locked in the Total War Pharaoh Dynasties release time, and we now know exactly when the new content will go live on PC. Dynasties is a free expansion pack for the original Total War Pharaohs game, adding new cultures, new units and some new battle mechanics. In this strategy game, you must build and expand your empire to conquer the world, emerging as the stronger power. As a free update launching on PC, here is when you can expect to play the expansion.
When does Total War Pharaoh Dynasties come out?
Total War Pharaoh Dynasties is out now. The game went live at 3pm BST on Thursday, July 25 in the UK, which is 7am PDT and 10am EDT in the US. This release time lines up with the countdown included on the game’s Steam page, which now explains that the game is out and available to download. As an expansion to a PC game, this pack will only be available on PC and will not be launching on consoles. Use this table to see when it goes live.

This new expansion nearly doubles the size of the original game, spanning the ancient world from Aegean to Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt. This expansion pack adds 168 new settlements, new historical landmarks, new victory objectives and more factions to play as. With the expanded map, new sea travel lanes have been added too, letting you raid further.
The new playable factions in Dynasties are Babylon, the Assyrians of Hanigalbat, Mycenae and Troy. Alongside these, there are 25 minor factions added to the game.
