The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will not include online functionality, Activision has confirmed to VideoGamer.com.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions, meanwhile, will feature “seamless online multiplayer” that allows players to challenge others from around the world, complete objectives in online skate sessions, and share their own custom-built skateparks with the community.

Activision has yet to comment on why the last-gen versions will lack online multiplayer, but we’ve checked in for further clarification.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 launches on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year. The last-gen versions will be available exclusively at GAME in the UK.
