Xbox One's backwards compatibility lineup has swelled once again this week with the addition of two new games: Tomb Raider Anniversary and Tomb Raider Legend.

Tomb Raider Anniversary is a full remake of Lara Croft's genre-defining 1996 debut, and was released on the Xbox 360 (and many other platforms, for that matter) in 2007. The treasure hunting adventurer was developed by Crystal Dynamics to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the franchise.

Meanwhile, Tomb Raider Legend launched in 2006 and was essentially the first attempt to reboot the then-flagging series following the bloody awful Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. It worked like a charm, injecting Lara's globe-trotting antics with new visual flare while freshening up the core gameplay mechanics.

As always, both titles can be popped into your Xbox One if you own them on disc or re-downloaded if you previously bought a digital copy.

Failing that, you can simply head over to the Xbox Store store and buy them outright. Both games are on sale too, so you can grab them on the cheap.
