Two Tribes, the Dutch developer behind Worms: Open Warfare 2 for Nintendo DS, has announced its first game for the Wii will be the WiiWare title Toki Tori, based on the critically acclaimed GBC title.
The update promises to improve on the original GBC game on all angles, with new visuals, updated content and an overhauled Wii Remote control scheme. The blend of puzzle and platform gameplay sees players guiding a young chick, Toki Tori, on his quest to rescue his siblings. Players will need to utilise a variety of items, including the Telewarp, Freeze-o-Matic and InstantRock.
Toki Tori is set for release through the WiiWare service – set to launch in the US on May 12. The game is also planned for Europe and Australia, although its release will depend on when the WiiWare service goes live in these territories.
