Titanfall 2 will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on Friday, October 28, it’s been revealed.

The date was leaked during a rehearsal of EA’s E3 press conference, which was accidentally broadcast live on its YouTube channel.

The first gameplay footage was also revealed, along with confirmation that the game will feature a single-player campaign and 6 new Titans. There’ll also be a multiplayer technical test ahead of launch, which players will be able to sign up to on the game’s website.

The release date puts Titanfall 2 right in the middle of Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which are due to release on October 21 and November 4 respectively.

Expect an official reveal during EA Play at 9pm BST tonight.

UPDATE: Respawn has officially released the leaked trailer, although its description suggests that a second multiplayer-focused trailer will also be revealed later today.
