Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 has moved development studios and is now in the hands of EA Tiburon, best known for work on the Madden NFL series. In addition it has been announced by EA that Tiger’s latest edition will be the first title to feature the new Gamernet system.
Gamernet will bring user created content to EA’s latest game releases, and with Tiger Woods 08 will enable players to save their best shots, holes and rounds, and post them online for other users to compete against.
The game will also incorporate Photo Game Face to generate photo-realistic game characters by uploading a photo. This player can then be customised using the game’s in-depth tools.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 is scheduled for release later this year on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, DS and PC.
