The game has only been in stores for a few weeks and already EA has released three new premium maps over Xbox Live Marketplace. Unfortunately, the new maps will cost you 700 Microsoft points.
For your points you get maps titled Weathertop, Argonath, and Umbar, each of which can be used in multiplayer, plus the single-player skirmish mode. Coming so soon after the game’s release, cynics might argue that EA could easily have included these maps with the retail release, and is merely exploiting the downloadable content format – but I’m no cynic.
