We’re yet to find out if Red Faction: Guerilla or Darksiders: Wrath of War will be a success, but that hasn’t prevented publisher THQ from pencilling in sequels for both titles at some point between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012.
The sequels were revealed on a single slide from a February investor’s presentation, although the slide made it clear that nothing was set in stone and that the line-up was subject to change.
Other titles lined-up for fiscal 2012 include the Warhammer 40,000 MMO, a new Pixar-based game and a “new animated kids” game.
Scheduled for release a little sooner, in fiscal 2011, is Saints Row 3. This will be joined by an unspecified action game from Relic and a new racing game – elsewhere in the presentation it was revealed that Juice Games is working on a “new racing concept”.
Elsewhere at THQ, Kaos Studios (Frontlines: Fuel of War) is working on a “new shooter” and de Blob developer Blue Tongue has taken the reigns on a new Marvel series.
