THQ Nordic is working on a new game, according to a new listing on Amazon. This listing follows on from a Twitter user posting a photograph of an advert that’s featured in a German publication. The as-of-yet unconfirmed game is called Biomutant, and it’s set in a post-apocalyptic world. The boxart for the game features a cat-like creature with an eye-patch, with a strange coloured, scaley-looking right arm/paw and a small Buster sword. I’m sold already.

Originally the game was leaked via a photograph of an ad from a German magazine that was tweeted by Tino_Hahn.

This afternoon the game was listed up on various Amazon sites, Twitter user Wario64 also posted an image of the Collector’s Edition of the game.

The product description on the Amazon listing states that: ‘BIOMUTANT is a post-apocalyptic open-world ARPG that delivers real-time melee, shooter and mutant ability action’. The description also alludes to customisation and character creation aspects, saying ‘Biomutant also features a fully customizable (MMO style) character and mutation system, bionics and creative item crafting, plus an interactive narrative featuring a contextual storyteller where the players creates their own story of survival in a vibrant colorful world’.

The game has yet to be formally announced by THQ Nordiq, but it’s early days at Gamescom 2017, so perhaps we’ll get an announcement this week?

According to the Amazon listing, the game is due to release in early 2018 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
