THQ has announced details of the special edition of hotly anticipated RTS Dawn of War II.
Those who pre-order the game will be rewarded with a special edition, which will go for around £34.99, and the opportunity to customise their squads with several different in-game content packages to choose from.
The first two packages come in a limited edition collector’s Steelbook which also includes a code to unlock a set of exclusive in-game content ranging from new Wargear to new Space Marine chapters and exclusive army painter colours.
The Destroyer Wargear Set, exclusive to retailer GAME, contains equipment for Avitus and his squad of Devastator Marines, including a set of Devastator armour as well as a heavy bolter and missile launcher. This pack will grant players access to the Novamarines chapter and four exclusive army painter colours.
The Sniper Wargear Set, exclusive to HMV, includes a unique set of armour as well as a shotgun and sniper rifle to equip Cyrus’s scout squad with. It also includes the Angels of Redemption chapter and four exclusive army painter colours.
Two additional packs will be unveiled in the New Year.
