THQ has today announced that an expansion pack for last year’s Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is currently in development. Relic, the team responsible for the first game, are also in charge of developing the expansion.
Subtitled ‘Winter Assault’, the expansion adds the Imperial Guard as a new playable race and according to Relic General Manager Ron Moravek, the expansion builds ‘on the Dawn of War franchise with even more visceral combat action throughout both the single and multi-player experiences’.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Winter Assault is due out later this year on PC. We’ll bring you more details as they become available.
