F. Gary Gray is set to direct a movie adaptation of Saints Row, according to a report on Deadline. Let's just hope it looks better than the Sonic movie, eh? Ugh.
Gray previously worked on a number of popular flicks, including The Fate of the Furious and Straight Outta Compton.
The Saints Row movie will feature a script penned by Greg Russo, who is also penning the story for Warner Bros.' Mortal Kombat reboot, and will be produced by Koch Films.
Not much else is known at this point, although this isn't the first time someone has attempted to bring the Saints Row series to the big screen. Ten years ago, rapper 50 Cent said he was working on the film, back when the franchise was under the THQ umbrella.
