“There is going to be a Battlefield 4,” EA president Frank Gibeau is reported to have said during a keynote at the University of Southern California.
Twitter reports of Gibeau’s keynote were later addressed by EA in a statement given to IGN.
“Frank was speaking broadly about the Battlefield brand – a brand that EA is deeply passionate about and a fan community that EA is committed to,” explained EA.
If you’re a fan of multiplayer then Battlefield 3 is certainly worth your time.
Battlefield 3 has become the fastest-selling game in EA’s history, with five million units in the hands on consumers after just one week – given its success, absolutely no one will find news of Battlefield 4 a surprise.
