Following the tempering of expectations by Telltale’s head of communications, Job Stauffer, earlier in the week, Telltale has only gone and announced a second season of the much-loved point-and-click adventure featuring Bigby Wolf. The Wolf Among Us season two will be coming out in 2018, and continues the story of Bigby Wolf, which is based upon Bill Willingham’s Fables comic book series. The cheeky bastards.
Due to the ‘overwhelming demand from fans since the conclusion of the first season in 2014’, Telltale confirmed that a second season will in fact be coming after all. The yet-to-be-titled second season will debut in the second half of 2018, with a new story arc for the returning cast of characters, featuring the return of Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette reprising the roles of Bigby Wolf and Snow White respectively.
The Wolf Among Us: A Telltale Games Series was a very well received game critically, as well as being the recipient of multiple awards and a very passionate fan following. The second season will be a standalone product from the first season.
The Wolf Among Us season two is due for release in the second half of 2018, and  will be available for PS4, Xbox One, PC (Win/Mac), iOS and Android. Additional platforms will be announced at a later date.
