New Game Plus, the final free DLC for The Witcher 3, is now available to download on Xbox One, with PS4 and PC releases expected any time now.
“Hungry for more action? Start a new game with all the skills and items from your previous playthrough, get better loot, slay even more ferocious beasts and relive the epic fantasy adventure that is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!” explains the Xbox.com description for the content.
On Xbox One the DLC is a tiny 9.51MB. Exactly what carries over to your new game was previously explained by CD Projekt.
“Player experience (if you’re below level 30 when finishing the vanilla game, you will be bumped to level 30 for the start of NG+), items (excluding: quest items, books & letters, Gwent cards, usable items, trophies), money and alchemy recipes.”
You are free to select any difficulty when starting NG+, and it’s also possible to earn the Death Match achievement when playing the NG+ mode.
All players will also be granted a free Clearing Potion so you can reset your skills and try a different build.
