The fifth and sixth DLC releases for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available this week, CD Projekt Red has announced.
The Nilfgaardian Armor Set and Elite Crossbow Set will be free to download, as was announced back in November 2014. A further 10 free DLCs are scheduled.
All this is just the starter before the main course arrives. Two major expansions, offering a total of 30 hours of content, will launch in October and Q1 2016. Up first is Hearts of Stone, which promises to take Geralt on an all-new, 10-hour-plus adventure into the wilds of No Man’s Land and the nooks and alleys of Oxenfurt, where he’ll try to complete a contract from the mysterious Man of Glass.
Blood and Wine, a 20-hour-plus campaign, will introduce the all-new in-game region of Toussaint, a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret.
The pair will be available via an Expansion Pass, and presumably individual purchases as well.
