Update: The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine will launch May 31, CD Projekt has announced. You can check out a teaser trailer for the expansion below.
“Blood and Wine makes The Witcher 3 complete – it’s Geralt’s final mission. Containing more than 90 new quests, and over thirty hours of brand new adventures, it’s something that I think gamers will remember for a long time,” said Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director, CD PROJEKT RED.
“There’s also a massive amount of features we’re giving gamers with this expansion like a dynamic Point of Interest system, a new Gwent deck, new endgame mutation mechanics, and even a place Geralt can call home…. And it’s all happening in a new region as big as No Man’s Land in the base game,” Tomaszkiewicz adds.
Original report: The Witcher 3’s Blood and Wine DLC could release as soon as May 30, according to a swiftly-removed Steam listing for the expansion.

Blood and Wine promises a new 20 hour-plus campaign that will introduce the region of Toussaint, a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret.
The Steam listing also included a note that players would get their very own vineyard where they can kick back and relax.
“I can already tell you Blood and Wine is a fascinating story, with every sort of twist and turn you’d expect from our writers,” said Marcin Momot, Senior Social Media and Community Coordinator at CD Projekt Red last month.
“Toussaint, the new realm we’re creating for the expansion, is unlike anything you’ve seen in Wild Hunt – carefree and colourful, but your gut never stops telling you that there’s some real dark stuff happening underneath all that,” Momot adds.
CD Projekt says it will reveal more info on Blood and Wine later this month. You can buy The Witcher 3 now.
