The Walking Dead Season 1 & 2 have yet to show their decomposing faces on Nintendo Switch, but that all looks about to change according to a new retailer listing.
European outlet Media Markt features listings for the first two seasons of the narrative-driven zombie series for Ninty’s hybrid console, claiming they’ll be released on August 31.
Given that The Walking Dead: The Final Season is just around the corner, it would make sense that Telltale uses the opportunity to bring the earlier seasons to Switch owners.
Nothing official has been confirmed at this point, although if the listing is accurate we can presumably expect Season 3 to show up at some point too.
Telltale’s The Walking Dead games are based on Robert Kirkman’s massively successful comic book series, so they’re set in the same universe as Rick Grimes and chums. However, they feature a brand new cast of characters doing their own thing to survive the undead apocalypse, and place a heavy emphasis on player choice.
The series has sold over 50 million copies worldwide since launching in 2012.
