The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, a first-person story-driven mystery game focused on exploration and discovery, will launch for PC on September 25, developer The Astronauts has announced.
A special Pre-Order Edition is available now from Steam and GOG, which includes the following items:
- Full Original Soundtrack
- 4x exclusive HD wallpapers
- Red Creek Valley digital map
- “Making of” PDF album
- Digital poster
The game sees players taking control of Paul Prospero, an occult-minded detective who receives a disturbing letter from Ethan Carter. Paul travels to the boy’s home of Red Creek Valley and discovers the situation to be far worse than he imagined.
