That Tropico 6Â trailer leak from yesterday turned out to be totally legit. The teaser has now been published on the official YouTube of Tropico developer Kalypso Media. Looks like Tropico 6 is indeed set for a release some time in 2018.
The video description says ‘In times of political turmoil and social unrest, the people are calling out for a visionary leader,’ and there’s a reference to a wall being built and Britain leaving the European Union. Those are some very current references to make, so it’ll be interesting to see the angle the full game takes (if any).
