EA today announced that The Sims 3, the highly anticipated next-gen version of its flagship PC title from The Sims Label, is to be released worldwide on February 20, 2009.
The game will be available in stores and via the EA download store. February 20 will also see the release of The Sims 3 Collector’s Edition, which will feature a host of bonus content. The set will include a full copy of the game, collectable The Sims merchandise (Plumbob USB drive with matching Green Carabiner, Plumbob stickers and a tips guide) and a bonus in-game Italian style Sports Car.
Only a limited number of the Collector’s Edition will be available worldwide and those that pre-order from selected retailers will also receive an additional exclusive in-game vintage sports car and a collectable poster.
