EA has announced that The Sims 3, launched on June 5, was the No.1 selling title at retail in Europe and North America for the three month period ended June 30, 2009. Since its launch the game has sold 3.7 million units.
The publisher’s Wii Fit rival, EA Sports Active, has also been a solid performer shifting 1.8 million units during the quarter, making it EA’s best-selling Wii title ever.
