The ship has been available via Valve’s Steam service for a little over a year now, and finally the intriguing first-person title is to be made available at retail.

Focus Multimedia has announced that the game has been released as part of its Essential range of PC software and will retail for only £9.99.

In The Ship players are invited on a cruise with a difference. The cruise ticket is free, but it does come with a price; you’ll have to murder one of your fellow passengers and to make things worse someone aboard is out to get you.

The game features a tutorial and single-player mode, but online play with up to 32 players is where the game really excels. Eight ships are included and players will find a host of wacky items which can be used for killing.

Pro-G got onboard the ship back in July 2006 and we though it was well worth your pennies.
