Scottish video game developer Outerlight has revealed that a sequel to is surprisingly entertaining, floating first-person murder game is to get a sequel – this time also on Xbox 360.

The news came by way of a Consolevania special episode dedicated to the Scottish video game industry, in which Outerlight operations director Alisa Bates revealed that The Ship 2 has been signed up by a major publisher.

We have literally just signed a deal for the sequel,” said Alisa. “So for most of this year we have been thinking about the sequel, thinking about art style and thinking what the game might be. This has been signed by quite a large publisher but we are not able to tell you who they are right now.

We thought The Ship was a great way to pass time and is certainly worth checking out.
