Wales Interactive has lifted the veil on a new FMV murder mystery known as The Shapeshifting Detective.
Developed by D'Avekki Studios, The Shapeshifting Detective is currently under hammer and nail for PlayStation 4, PC, Switch, and Xbox One, and is pencilled in for release in the fourth quarter of this year.
The Shapeshifting Detective sees gamers plonked in the role of a sleuth with supernatural powers, allowing him to shapeshift into other characters. Your job is to solve the murder of Dorota Shaw, with the prime suspects rounded down to three tarot card readers.
The noir-flavoured mystery romp boasts over 1600 FMV videos displayed in sumptuous high-definition, nine characters to shapeshift into, and a branching storyline. Hell, you can even turn into a Police Chief if you're stuck and get your hands on a vital clue.
