Sony has celebrated PlayStation 4's fifth anniversary by dropping off a load of stats for the console, including a list of its best-selling games to date. And there's no surprises for what's included in the list.

For starters, the company's flagship console has now sold-in (that's the number of units shipped to retailers, not in the hands of consumers) 86.1 million units. In addition, the console has also moved 777.9 million units during the last half-a-decade.

So, what else has it managed to achieve in the past five years? Well, Sony has released a total of 11 major updates for PS4, and its rarest hardware iteration is (perhaps unsurprisingly) the PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition. Count yourself lucky if you got your hands on one of these gems.

In terms of games, the list of top-selling PS4 titles ranked in alphabetical order are as follows: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Call of Duty: WWII, FIFA 17, FIFA 18, and Grand Theft Auto 5.

Okay, so it would have been nice to see a few surprises in there, but we all know how popular those franchises are, right? Right.

You can check out the full stats on Sony's PlayStation Blog post here, which also reveals that Fortnite is one of the 'most popular titles' on PS4.
