Daniel Wu has been signed to play ship captain Lu Ren in the Tomb Raider film reboot, reports Variety.
Lu Ren will team up with Lara Croft in her adventure to find her father.
Wu was most recently seen as the star of AMC’s Into The Badlands, which was aired weekly in the UK on Amazon Video. A second season will premiere this spring.
The new Tomb Raider film is set to launch March 16, 2018 and will star Alicia Vikander. Norwegian Roar Uthaug is attached to direct.
