With just over a week until release, BioWare have dropped the launch trailer for the hotly anticipated Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Andromeda is the fourth game in the Mass Effect franchise, though its events take place several hundreds of years after the original trilogy, and in a new galaxy. The races of our own galaxy, lead by the human Pathfinder Ryder, must find a new home in Andromeda.

The trailer for ME:A features glimpses of more alien races, as well as another look at the Kett, the opponents Ryder will face up against. There’s a lot of future tech and some exploding star ships, all set to Rag’n’Bone Man’s track ‘Human’ — another first, since the launch trailers for all three previous ME games have featured sweeping orchestral tracks from bands like Two Steps From Hell.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is out on March 23 on Xbox One, PC and PS4 (March 21 for NA territories).
