Naughty Dog has confirmed it won't be showing anything on The Last of Us: Part II at this week's The Game Awards.
Writing on Twitter, the California-based developer said it will reveal more details on the highly anticipated horror sequel at a later date. Presumably this means E3, as there's no PlayStation Experience this year.
We’re looking forward to celebrating a year of incredible games at #TheGameAwards this Thursday, however, we won’t have anything new to share from The Last of Us Part II. We’re hard at work and looking forward to revealing more when the time is right! pic.twitter.com/6iP1AA8ncT

The Last of Us: Part II is currently in development for PlayStation 4, and takes place a few years after the first game. Players now control a 19-year-old Ellie, who appears to be hell bent on getting revenge for one reason or another, and from what we've seen definitely knows how to handle herself.
Naughty Dog has revealed that Ellie will be accompanied by an NPC companion, although we don't know who this will be yet. Joel? The girl in the trailer shown at E3, perhaps?
The Last of Us: Part II has yet to attract a release date.
