The Last of Us: Part 2 still doesn't have a release date, but Naughty Dog has given us a fresh update on how development is coming along.
According to Neil Druckmann, who serves as creative director and co-writer on the title, Naughty Dog has just filmed the game's ending scene. The news comes not long after Laura Bailey confirmed she had finished mo-cap work on the highly anticipated PlayStation 4-exclusive sequel.
The Last of Us: Part 2 takes place around five years after the events of its predecessor, and sees players controlling Ellie, who is now 19-years-old. While we're only going to play as the potty-mouthed heroine in the game, Naughty Dog has confirmed she'll have an NPC companion at some point.
Much like the original The Last of Us, the sequel will also support multiplayer, although details on this mode have yet to be revealed.
