News on The Last of Us’ multiplayer mode is due imminently, Naughty Dog has revealed; a good thing, perhaps, considering the game goes on sale in a little over two weeks’ time.
Despite the game’s imminent release (and teases from Naughty Dog suggesting that the mode is “the best MP ever conceived”), details on The Last of Us’ multiplayer have yet to be officially revealed by Sony.
It isn’t yet publicly known whether the game will feature a similar multiplayer mode to the Uncharted series, or whether Naughty Dog has aimed to deliver a slightly different online experience.
The game is also rumoured to receive a Season Pass, although details on what it may contain or, of course, whether it’s even linked to the game’s multiplayer, have yet to be announced.
