Microsoft has announced that Twisted Pixel’s The Gunstringer for Kinect will be released at retail on September 16 in the UK. The package, which comes compete with a copy of Fruit Ninja Kinect, has an RRP of £29.99.

In The Gunstringer you control a gun-toting marionette in an action title that combines shooting and platforming mechanics. To celebrate the release of The Gunstringer players will also be able to download a free add-on pack called “The Wavy Tube Man Chronicles”. If you want even more free stuff, pre-order The Gunstringer and you’ll get two tokens for Avatar props from the game.

The Gunstringer had previously been confirmed as an XBLA title, but will now hit stores on a disc on September 16. Fruit Ninja Kinect will still be available to download via Xbox LIVE Arcade on August 10.
