Maximum Games has announced The Golf Club 2, a sequel to 2014’s golf sim heading to PS4, Xbox One and PC in early 2017.
The new game promises a brand new Career Mode that lets players work their way up the ranks to becoming a pro by gaining fame, along with a “robust online mutiplayer mode, highly detailed course created, cutting-edge swing mechanics, and stunning visuals”.
New environments are promised, too, along with “limitless customisation” that gives players the opportunity to fully customise their golfer’s appearance and clothing. A new ‘Tempo’ swing mechanic is also said to offer more control over each shot.
- Become a pro in Career mode: Progress by winning, earning money, and buying into respected golf societies and clubhouses, facing more difficult competition as you rise to the top.
- Earn entrance into prestigious golf societies: Join online guilds and challenge other players, making your way up the line of leading clubs.
- Engaging online competitions: Play full seasons and major tournaments, either alone or with your golf society.
- Advanced course creator: Build entire golf courses with even more props, tools, and the addition of crowds for a more immersive golfing experience.
- Limitless customization: Fully customize physical appearance and clothing to make your avatar unique to you.
- Enhanced swing mechanic: Perfect your stroke with the new Tempo swing, allowing for more control and a greater payoff with each shot.
