EA has announced details of the remainder of its 2006 game line-up. One game on the list is The Godfather, which has been confirmed for release in September on Xbox 360 and PSP. Already released on PS2, Xbox and PC, the two new versions both feature enhancements hoping to entice gamers.

The Xbox 360 version claims to have been custom-built for the platform, with enhanced BlackHand combat and improved graphics with HDTV support. Other than that the game sounds pretty much as it was in previous versions.

For the PSP the game has been given an all-new game mode called Mob Wars. In this mode players must manoeuvre mobsters and take control of NYC one territory at a time.

The game is scheduled to ship in September for Xbox 360 and PSP.
