IllFonic has announced on the Friday the 13th’s Facebook page that the long-awaited Xbox One patch has been approved and is now live. This should fix many of the issues that have pretty much buggered up the Xbox version of the game to date. Coincidentally, this patch comes just after the developers were forced to respond to fan furore over what was perceived as an indifference towards the issues plaguing the Xbox version, and the realisation that IllFonic had been working on a different game.
Other platforms had already received these updates, and to some players the Xbox version seemed to have been neglected, though IllFonic continued to periodically confirm they were still working on it. Thankfully, this patch should improve the game, and bring it up to the same level of performance as the PS4 and PC versions. It’s been designed to target specific crashes in the game, improve the server issues and get rid of many of the bugs that were ruining the game.
For a full list of the changes, you can read the patch notes on the Friday the 13ths Facebook page.
