Survival adventure The Flame in the Flood is heading to PS4 in January, developer Molasses Flood and publisher Curve Digital have announced.

The Flame in the Flood: Complete Edition includes the original game along with a new Directors’ Commentary and a “host of gameplay enhancements”. You’ll even get a dynamic theme and two avatars for your PSN profile, too.

“We’ve been chatting with the guys at Curve for ages about this, so it feels good to get this out in the open,” said lead designer Forrest Dowling. “We’ve always wanted the game to go as far and as wide as possible, so working with them to get the Complete Edition onto PlayStation was a bit of a no-brainer. The additional content and gameplay enhancements very much make this the definitive version – we can’t wait to get it out there.”

The PC and Xbox One versions of the game were self-published by Molasses Flood, although the developer has yet to say whether the Complete Edition will eventually be available on other platforms.

Fans looking to try out the PS4 version will be able to check it out at this weekend’s PlayStation Experience.
