The most recent The Finals hotfix has been long awaited for Xbox players. It’s finally here, with very fre minor fixes relating to re-instating cross-play on Xbox, alongside patching infinite loading screens and matchmaking bugs.

The Finals 3.5.0 patch notes

Build

  • Ensured all platforms are on the same build to re-enable crossplay and content updates for Xbox

Performance

  • This week we fixed one of the bugs causing players to be stuck in an infinite loading screen
  • Fixed a bug that caused players to be unable to properly cancel ranked matches

These patch notes come courtesy of the official The Finals website, which also makes mention of a freely available skin as part of the first Community Event of Season 3. After 1.9m contestants are beaten with weapons and gadgets introduced in Season 3, all contributors will be awarded the DISSUN Capacitor skin for Dual Blades.

The update also marks the reintroduction of crossplay on Xbox, which had been temporarily disabled while Microsoft’s servers were running amock.
