Top-down prison-escape game The Escapists is getting free Christmas DLC later this week, Team 17 has announced.
Available on PC and PS4 from tomorrow, December 8, and Xbox One from Wednesday, December 9, the Santa’s Sweatshop DLC sees players attempting to escape Santa’s grotto in a brand new Christmas-themed level.
Playing as an elf, you’ll have access to a range of brand new Christmas items and jobs to help you plot your escape, all set to a festive soundtrack. You can check out what it looks like in screenshots through here.
“After suffering Santa’s cruel regime for the last 20 years, it’s time for you to leave it all behind and get back home to enjoy Christmas with your real family,” says Team 17. “Sick and tired of bad working conditions and zero pay, you decide to give Santa a present of your own and hit him where it hurts most and escape his sweatshop once and for all!”
The Escapists is available now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and will be included in the Xbox Countdown Sale, the Steam Holiday Sale and PSN sales this December.
