Team 17 has sent word that a free update has gone live for jaunty prison break sandbox The Escapists 2, adding a new Map Editor to the game.
Allowing players to edit nearly every aspect of their potential penitentiary, prisons can be customised and built using a drag and drop interface and can then be shared with other players and downloaded via Steam Workshop for use in both single and online multiplayer.
The Escapists 2 is currently also available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (although there’s no word if this feature will make it to consoles) while a Nintendo Switch version is on the way.Â
