The Epic Games Store has taken a leaf out of the Steam Store book and launched its first sale with discounts across its ever growing catalogue of games.

Announcing the sale on its website and via Twitter, it declares up to 75% discounts of many of its popular games such as Satisfactory, World War Z and Shakedown Hawaii.  A pretty signifcant discount though is the promise of £10 any game priced at £13.99 or more. This includes yet-to-be released games, and as a result you can nab titles such as the literally just announced John Wick Hex for as low as £4.39 or the upcoming Borderlands 3 for £39.99

In a very strong-armed move, Epic is also offering anyone who bought any game in the sale between May 2 and the day before the sale launched, May 15 a refund on their purchase of the difference between what they paid and the current sale price. Even pre-orders of unlreleased games before the sale kicked in are set to get a £10 refund to their accounts.

An FAQ explaining the finer details of the Epic Mega Sale can be found on the Epic Games Store website.
