The Elder Scrolls Online PC to console digital upgrade promotion offering existing PC players the ability to start playing on PS4 or Xbox One at a reduced price is still valid despite the game dropping the subscription requirement, Zenimax Online has confirmed.

The offer was announced back at the initial delay of the PS4 and Xbox One game in May 2014, and lets existing owners upgrade to a digital console copy for £12.99.

“If you signed up for that offer before it expired, you will get an email letting you know when the transfer option is open,” confirmed Jessica Folsom, ZeniMax Online Studios Community Manager. “Once it’s available, you’ll be able to purchase the upgrade via our website.”

An updated FAQ confirmed that players must have redeemed their PC game code by June 30, 2014 to be eligible for the £12.99 console version.

The Elder Scrolls Online goes subscription free for PC on March 17 and launches for PS4 and Xbox One on June 9.
