The Assassin’s Creed movie has added another star to its cast, with Deadline Hollywood reporting that Inception and The Dark Knight Rises star Marion Cotillard is to join Michael Fassbender in the video game adaptation.
The pair will also star in the upcoming Macbeth, which is hemled by Justin Kurzel and who also happens to be in the director’s chair on Assassin’s Creed.
Deadline says Cotillard has signed a deal for multiple films, should the first be a success at the box office.
Production is expected to begin this autumn, with a December 21, 2016 release date in the calendar from Fox.
