Open world racer The Crew will receive regular free content as a way of keeping players engaged in the game, creative director Julian Gerighty has promised.
"One of the things that I really want to do is to keep providing people with content after launch. So free content just to keep people engaged in the game," Gerighty said in a new interview published by Ubisoft. "I really see this as your one-stop shop for action driving."
The free content should go some way to make up for concerns over the game's microtransactions, which will give players the option to purchase performance parts with real world cash rather than wait to unlock them through natural progression.
