Open world racer The Crew is also heading to Xbox 360 this November in addition to previously announced platforms Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Ubisoft has announced.

Development on the Xbox 360 version is being led by Asobo Studio, the team behind Codemasters’ open world game FUEL, with support from Ivory Tower, Ubisoft Reflections and Ubisoft Shanghai.

“It’s Ubisoft’s objective to continue to meet the needs of consumers who have not yet made the move to the new console generation,” said Ubisoft’s senior VP of sales and marketing Geoffroy Sardin.

“The Crew was originally built for the new generation of consoles, but we have always had a desire to make it accessible to as many people as possible. We’re excited to bring The Crew’s same core features, massive scope, mission variety, and overall driving experience to Xbox 360 players.”

It isn’t yet clear how the Xbox 360 version will differ to its next-gen/PC counterparts or whether it will require the same permanent internet connection.

A PS3 version does not seem to be in development.

In addition, Ubisoft announced that a closed beta will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in late September. Details on how you can get involved will be revealed at a later date.
