Ubisoft has confirmed details on the upcoming closed beta for The Crew 2, revealing players will be able to get a taste of the open-world racer on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One from May 31.

As per the norm, you'll need to register for the teaser on The Crew 2's official website to have a chance at getting in on the action. If you're lucky enough to get selected you will be able to pre-load the beta from May 29.

The closed beta will run until June 4, during which time you'll be able to sample a bunch of key features, including the 'first level' of the game's progression system, as well as hopping into the driver's seat of multiple vehicles across Street Race, Rally Raid, Powerboat, and Aerobatics disciplines.

Also up for grabs is the Fast-Fav feature, which allows you to change your vehicle at the tap of a button depending on the terrain.

The Crew 2 is launching on June 29. We had a few questions about the game (such as whether or not it features cars), which Resero's Dan Webb was only too happy to answer in our rapid-fire Q&A.
